Legal Secretary/Admin The candidate will be doing light secretarial duties, including filing, answering phones, copying, scanning, etc. Preparing Preliminary Declarations of Disclosure, including the Schedule of Assets and Debts and Income and Expense Declaration. Drafting light correspondence. Drafting light basic pleadings, such as Petitions for Dissolution, UCCJEA Declarations. Drafting Judgment of Dissolution packets. Trial preparation, including organizing trial binders. Calendaring and calculating deadlines, including deadlines for responsive declarations, discovery, judicial custody conference statements, mandatory settlement conference statements, and trial briefs. Other responsibilities as assigned. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks. Professional demeanor, as the position may require you to communicate with the Court, clients, and other attorneys from time to time. Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direction.
