Legal Secretary/Personal Assistant The candidate will perform administrative and litigation-related duties. Will work on handling and routing phone calls, emails, and correspondence; scanning and filing documents; scheduling depositions; working with clients on discovery responses; interviewing potential clients; maintaining electronic files and ensuring that hard copy and electronic files are in order; and preparing pleadings for filing and service. Serve as the personal assistant for principal attorney. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the following software programs is important: Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint; PDF/Scanning software; general voicemail/phone systems; document builder/form builder software to create pleadings; document management software. 5+ years of experience is essential. Intermediate is preferred.
