Medical Malpractice Paralegal The candidate will document management and analysis for large cases. Medical record summaries and chronologies. Procurement of medical records/HIPPA compliance. Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests. Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses. Extreme attention to detail and calendars. Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel. Statewide roster/docket monitoring. Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court. Tracking of time spent on client matters and enter time in CMS billing system in a timely matter, Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Bachelor of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification. 3-5 years of Medical Malpractice experience preferred. Experience tracking and billing time spent on client matters Experience with Case Management Software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....).
