Legal Secretary The candidate should have 5 years experience in Litigation Practice Areas. Duties: Transcription / Drafting of Pleadings. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office, Worldox. Filing Court Documents / E-Filing / State and Federal. Scheduling depositions, meetings, facilitations, mediations, conferences. Exceptional professional writing and communication skills when interacting with court staff, attorneys, paralegals, secretaries, and clients. Maintaining litigation docket and calendars utilizing a tickler system for deadline dates for responsive pleadings/motions, court appearances, and all important meetings/deadlines. Opening, organizing, and maintaining files in an exceptional, efficient, and effective manner. Assisting attorneys in preparation for meetings, hearings, depositions, case evaluations, facilitations, mediations and trials. Experience with document management systems is required.
