Entry-Level Paralegal Duties: Reports to Senior Practice Manager. Assists with all aspects of document production, document management, pleadings preparation, and filings. Assists with all aspects of discovery and trial preparation including, but not limited to, coding documents; creating and maintaining document databases; creating and maintaining document logs; proofreading and cite-checking legal documents; preparation of witness binders, trial exhibits, trial notebooks; and logistical support arrangements for depositions, hearings, and trials. Assists with all document preparation and distribution including, but not limited to, ancillary documents; signature pages; notes; checklists; receipts; closing memoranda; indices; correspondence; charts; and resolutions. Assists with incorporation/formation of new entities, dissolution of entities, and amendments to corporate documents. Performs general corporate housekeeping tasks such as issuing stock certificates, maintaining minute books, qualifying corporations in foreign jurisdictions, and filing various corporate documents. Performs due diligence reviews, assists at financial printer offices, and files documents with governmental agencies. Prepares for, manages, and attends corporate closing, hearings, arbitrations, and trials. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a 3.4 GPA. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and maintain quality while working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work effectively on own initiative and in collaboration with others. Ability to exercise discretion and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Demonstrated proficiency and experience with a broad range of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong research skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Foreign language skills are a plus.
