Bankruptcy Attorney Duties: Gain valuable work experience and further their career with a strong, established firm in Los Angeles. Will be responsible for a high volume caseload, as well as client interaction. Huge potential for larger earnings and growth with the firm. Draft complaints, motions, discovery. Provide Sound Counsel and Judgment on foreclosure issues. Take responsibility for Court Appearances, Motions, Depositions, Meditations and Negotiations. Negotiate settlements for borrowers. Requirements: JD Degree with a concentration in bankruptcy, real property, or commercial law. Licensed to practice law in the state of California. 2 years of experience in bankruptcy matters. Experience drafting legal documents including opposition briefs. Familiarity with local rules and procedures is required. Ability to represent the company in various forums to foster the desires and image of the company in the community. Must be PC literate and able to rapidly adapt to a variety of data base systems. 1 -3 years experience preferably in the mortgage or banking industry. Excellent attention to detail and is persistent and thorough in completing work tasks. Outstanding dependability, cooperation, sense of integrity, initiative. Strong speaking ability and speech clarity, talking to others to convey complex ideas and information effectively. Ability to actively listen, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate. Ability to identify and manage complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
