Consumer Financial Services Paralegal/Licensing Professional The candidate will undertake a range of tasks and responsibilities that include assisting in the preparation of mortgage company and other consumer financial services license applications, regulatory filings and responses to regulatory examination and audit requests; assisting in the compilation of supplemental application materials; organizing, proofreading and assembling documents; tracking certain state and federal legislation; acting as a liaison between the firm and clients; drafting correspondence to clients, regulators, and firm attorneys; and interacting with state and federal regulatory agencies. Additional responsibilities may include researching industry databases, researching applicable laws, and writing, reviewing, and/or preparing client documents. Must have a four-year college degree, preferably in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job. Regulatory experience is also a plus.
