Law Firm is Seeking Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal Law Firm is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in Plaintiff or Defense Personal Injury Pre-Litigation or Litigation. This is an in-office position located in downtown Chicago, however, work from home may be offered over time with experience. Responsibilities: Requesting medical records and bills. Reviewing and summarizing medical bills and records and compiling medical summaries. Performing administrative duties (calendar deadlines, organizing case files, drafting documents, sending cease and desist letters, etc.). Communicating with clients regarding their treatment and case statuses. Communicating with lienholders and negotiating lien balance reductions. Composing and sending demand letters. Answering written discovery for underinsured and uninsured motorist cases. Requirements: Great client communication. Microsoft Excel Medical Record collection experience. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking preferred but not required. Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred, but not required. A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred to be considered for this position.
