Personal Injury Defense Paralegal The candidate will draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, other legal documents and be compliant with same. Will prepare comprehensive medical chronologies and medical damages summaries. Assist in preparation for depositions, mediation and trials. Research, retain and communicate with expert witnesses. Perform background investigations. Conduct legal research and investigations as needed and directed. Review, organize and summarize case documents when necessary. Provide assistance at trial including preparation of exhibits and other documentation for use at trial. Must have at least 3-5 years' experience as a litigation paralegal and significant experience in personal injury and medical malpractice. Should have experience with all aspects of civil litigation, case preparation and file management from commencement of case through settlement and trial.
