Paralegal Duties: Answering and directing phone calls. Supporting and assisting attorneys. Preparation of correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery. Handling incoming and outgoing mail. Calendaring and scheduling. Filing court documents. Organize and maintain documents in both paper and electronic filing systems. Investigate, gather, and arrange evidence and facts of the case for attorney review. Assist lawyers in preparing for and during trial by handling exhibits, taking notes, and reviewing trial transcripts. Call clients, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interview, meetings, and meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Top academic credentials. Prior or active paralegal experience. Excellent technical skills (Microsoft Office, Google Office, Adobe). Strong communication, grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Must type at 50+ WPM. Detail-oriented. Ability to work independently. Familiarity with record review for relevant material, responding to discovery, pretrial filings, trial and discovery deadlines and a demonstrated ability to work in that environment. Familiarity with trial software and document management.
