Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant The candidate will interact with teams of attorneys and paralegals in managing complex litigation support efforts. Inputting Edits into a Wide Variety of Legal Forms, Pleadings, Discovery Requests, Responses and Correspondence. Arranging Documents in the Proper Legal Format. Updating and Maintaining Case Files. Lifting Bankers Box (Approx. 25 Lbs). Receiving Clients and Meeting Set Up and Breakdown. Client Communications/Relations. Copying/Faxing Documents. Travel Research and Arrangements. Handling Confidential Personal Matters. Coordinating Meetings. Phone Coverage. Ability to Stand for various amounts of time while Assembling Materials and Files Necessary for Conferences, Depositions or Court. ECF Filing and Service. Follow-Up and Communication with Team. 2 Years of Experience as a Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant. Excellent Typing, Spelling and Transcription Skills. Strong Computer Skills. Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in creating Table of Authorities (TOA s). Experience in creating Table of Contents (TOC s). Excellent Proofreading Skills/ Attention to Detail. Knowledge of Standard Office Methods and Equipment.
