Corporate Paralegal The candidate will be drafting documents for formation of new corporate entities; proofreading and distributing draft documents; coordinating, organizing and interpreting complex legal documents; building and maintaining relevant database files; and conducting factual research. Additional responsibilities include drafting of miscellaneous transaction documents, making necessary securities filings, and updating corporate records.
The candidate should have strong transactional paralegal experience in corporate finance and M&A transactions at a major law firm. Candidates should have solid experience handling start-up work and securities filings, public company reporting, merger filings and fund formation skills. Should have Bachelor's Degree; ABA approved Paralegal certificate. Should have 5+ years of transactional paralegal experience at a major law firm. Should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe. Should have strong problem solving and analytical skills. Should have strong organizational and communication skills, take initiative and be a self-starter. Should have ability to manage paralegal matters independently.
