Legal Secretary The candidate will respond to phone calls and emails from existing and prospective clients. Handle clerical work and filing. Sort, distribute, and scan mail, and documents related to a clients matter. Set up new client files and organize client files and documents. Prepare correspondence to clients, courts, and other attorneys, monitor and organize correspondence; scan and send documents to clients and other interested parties and/or opposing counsel, track client and firm expenses, etc. Review correspondence and documents, file management (i.e. scheduling and monitoring deadlines, creating tasks based on deadlines, etc.). Manage calendar, schedule and coordinate meetings. Form and update existing entities on the Arizona Corporation Commission website and electronically record documents with the County Recorder's Office, Should have 1-2 years legal assistant experience preferred. Experience in corporate/transactional law and/or estate planning is preferred. Strong computer skills (including Word and Outlook), time management, and organizational skills a must. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required.
