Immigration Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys with case processing of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications, including E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, NIW, EB- 1/2/3/5, and family-based K-1 and I-130, AOS, Consular Processing, and N-400. Assist attorneys with analyzing the case facts, reviewing documents, and conducting legal research to establish case strategy as well as communicating regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues. Draft and prepare support letters and other legal draft letters for attorney's review, organize documents, and prepare the petition/application packets. Facilitate completion of immigration cases and ensure that clients are compliant with posting and maintaining required documentation. Draft immigration-related correspondences, including employment confirmation letters, invitation letters, travel packets, and business introduction letters. Assist with RFE, NOID, Appeals, MTR, and other related matters/special projects. Stay current on developments in immigration law. Conduct legal research and propose case strategies. Manage corporate client accounts and migration agent clients in addition to individual clients. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. 3 years of experience in immigration law, strong writing skills and experience in handling intensive writing and research assignments such as EB-1A/NIW and O-1 cases. EB-5 (source of funds) experience is a plus. Experience with case management software is a plus. Must have exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation in a fast-paced working environment. Must be a self-starter that is able to work efficiently and learn independently. Excellent client communication and customer service and interpersonal skills with positive attitude and work ethic required. The candidate should be a highly qualified and experienced Immigration Paralegal to administer and process non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Position requires excellent writing and research skills and 3 years of immigration law experience.
