Forensic Accountant/Paralegal The candidate's role will consist of forensic accounting and analysis, client advocacy before the IRS Collection, Examination, and Criminal Investigations Divisions, and some paralegal tasks. Will generate spreadsheets and reports based on bank statements and other financial records, assist in analyzing tax issues, and critically review reports of IRS agents, state taxing authority agents, and other law enforcement agencies. Will assist with responses to Government inquiries including Information Document Requests, Summonses, and Subpoenas, and be a critical member of a team who represent clients with serious tax problems. Must have 5+ years of experience as a CPA, IRS Enrolled Agent (or would be willing to become an Enrolled Agent) or have relevant experience in a government agency.
