Workers Compensation/Social Security Paralegal The candidate functions includes: Communicating and corresponding with clients, providers and others in the legal community; Maintaining client files; Calculate and manage deadlines; Review, analyze and summarize case files; Review, draft and file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions and other pleadings for attorneys; Assisting attorneys with preparation of cases for trial; Attending trial with attorneys and assisting throughout trial; Other duties as assigned. Should have 2 years as a litigation paralegal (experience with Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice, Social Security, Workers' Compensation). Must have ability to proficiently prioritize a heavy work load. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should Understand legal terminology and procedures. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Needles Case Management software is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus./ High School Diploma and/or GED Required. Completion of an Accredited Paralegal program and/or certificate preferred. Associate's Degree or comparable work experience is required.
