Workers Compensation- Paralegal The candidate will be involved in the daily and constant work helping their keep their cases well-organized and moving. Will frequently speak with clients to relay information about their case, schedule important events. Should have experience in worker's compensation Florida. Should have at least 1 year of experience working as a paralegal in civil litigation. The candidate will be responsible for handling claims from inception through resolution. The position entails extensive contact with clients, attorneys, insurance adjustors, and medical providers. Opening new files; gather and analyze intake information and relevant documents. Fully investigate each case; maintain contact with clients on regular basis. Prepare documents and correspondence. Collect documentation of all damages sustained such as medical records, bills and loss of income. Read and interpret medical records and reports. Organize and maintain case files. Knowledge in personal injury/workers compensation preferred. Must have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software.
