Paralegal Responsibilities: Analyze Medical Records and Prepare Chronologies. Drafting Form discovery. Communicating with clients. Preparing Form motions. Coordinating with experts and scheduling IME s. Summarizing depositions. Social media searches. HIPAA Authorizations/Subpoena Requests. Billing of time and complying with client guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification required. 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense law, practice management, time/billing and discovery management software. Experience in bodily injury and wrongful death matters (e.g., premises liability, trucking, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, etc.) is strongly preferred. Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels within the organization and externally. Must be a highly organized and detail-oriented person with capability to multi-task. Must be able to work on all phases of litigation from the inception of suit to trial. The ability to work under a team structure is essential as the support staff is the foundation of the firm. Constant communication with other administrative staff and attorneys is key. A professional demeanor with clients is a must.
