Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Preparation, coordination, and finalizing public entity closing documents. Will compile client data, draft correspondence and closing documents, maintain and organize client data and closing documents and will have direct contact with all parties involved in closings. Will coordinate multiple parties to meet closing deadlines.
Qualifications: College degree and/or a paralegal certificate and Law firm experience are required. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Paralegal experience. Must have expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, and posting documents to file share sites; proficiency in the use of technology to function at maximum efficiency; precise attention to detail; the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple overlapping projects and to delegate when necessary; proven organization and time-management skills; exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter with a team mentality and have a desire to learn new technology.
