Legal Secretary The candidate will assist attorneys with complex civil litigation cases. Should have 5+ years' experience in the legal arena. Ability to electronically file and serve documents. Excellent communication, customer service and follow-through skills. Proficient in calendaring and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and time-management skills a must. Should preferably have Familiarity with local and State court rules and complex case procedures. Will draft pleadings and discovery/responses. Pre-trial or Case Manager Orders. Schedule multiple meetings and call with experts, opposing counsel, etc. Maintain electronic and physical files/binders. Must communicate effectively with clients, experts, mediators and court personnel. Document review and summary. Deposition preparation with attorneys. Trial or arbitration prep and assistance.
