Legal Secretary The candidate roles and responsibilities include: General overflow support to multiple attorneys and other support staff across all practice areas; Coordinating calendars, scheduling appointments, answering multiple telephone lines and corresponding with clients; Drafting / reviewing / finalizing pleadings, documents and written correspondence, transcription; Ability / willingness to learn to electronically file court documents is required. Keeping files current and organized, including opening new files, running conflict checks and closing out old files once project is complete; Interacting with clients and professionals from other firms / businesses. Law firm experience preferred, but will train the right candidate. Should have excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. Must have excellent proofreading skills. Strong interpersonal skills are needed. Experience in scanning documents. Proficient in Outlook email / calendar and MS Word experience required. Excel and PowerPoint experience is a bonus. Must be able to accurately type 60-80 WPM.
