Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: Pre-litigation work up of an assigned docket of personal injury cases. Assist with telephone, in-person intake and sign up of potential new clients. Assist with case evaluation, pre-litigation management, demand prep and reviews, pre-litigation negotiation. Must have demonstrated negotiation experience. Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude. Filing lawsuits, drafting and responding to written discovery, taking depositions, preparing clients and presenting them for depositions. Motion practice (including hearings), and handling friendly suits from start to finish.
Qualifications: JD Degree. Texas State Bar licensed. 2+ years Plaintiffs personal injury litigation experience. Solid knowledge of current Texas personal injury law, including causes of action, liability issues, damage elements, etc. Excellent legal research, written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Plaintiffs Personal Injury cases (i.e. MVA, Commercial, Premise Liability). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Needles case management software. Some Personal Injury Litigation experience is a plus. Trial experience is preferred.
