Personal Injury Legal Secretary The candidate will answer high volume of phone calls. Complete new client intakes. Open/close files. Calendar and manage deadlines. Handle incoming calls and apprising clients on case status. Prepare documents. Resolve Property Damage. Medical Lien Resolution. Case file management. Draft demand letters and prepare demand package. Sort and read medical records, insurance correspondences, and settlement release on behalf of the client. Communication and corresponding with insurance adjusters. Assist with other office clerical duties. Scanning/filing/indexing documents in the client's file required. Following-up with clients on an ongoing bi-weekly schedule required. Experience scheduling client's at medical office for treatment required. Bachelor's required. ABA approved Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree from a 4-yr University (required). 2 years of professional CA personal injury law paralegal work experience required. Strong/demonstrable leadership, time management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required. Collegial demeanor, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and motivated self-starter required. Familiarity with CA Rules of Court, and CA Code of Civil Procedure required. Microsoft Office Proficient required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Effective time management skills preferred. Strong communication abilities (written, and verbal) preferred.
