Legal Secretary/Assistant Responsibilities: Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery. Draft letters. Speak with clients to gather information. Prepare court forms such as summons and subpoenas. Proofread and input with proper formatting. Checking cases on Westlaw and Lexis Nexis. Maintain firm calendars. Qualifications: 2+ years litigation experience. Ability to work independently. Familiarity with State and Federal court procedures and rules. Excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel). Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Attention-to-detail, with superb proofreading skills.
