Employment Based Immigration Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for working with attorneys to manage an employment based immigration workload, conducting legal research, initial case assessments, pre-filing reviews. Will be drafting employment based petitions, legal memos, conducting research and preparing administrative appeal documents and conducting other administrative duties. Provide assistance during all phases of the petition process including conducting initial case reviews and interviews, legal research, document filing and assessing request for additional evidence. Ensure processes and procedures are in place so that all immigration application filings related to employment-based Non-Immigrant and Immigrant petitions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Be the go to person for all immigration and filing procedures, compliance process, and other related quires. Work on complete GC and H-1B process from coordinating with teams, collecting required documentation from employees, initiating forms to approval. Assist in the preparation of permanent residency cases (PERM Processing). Work closely with the attorneys in preparing, filing and tracking of various immigration applications and petitions (H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140 and I-485). Maintain an understanding of changing immigration and compliance policies and procedures. Ownership of complete immigration process, including maintaining PAFs, timely LCA Postings and other compliance procedures. Expertise working with H-1B RFE responses, PERM Audit responses which includes communicating with employees, coordinating with vendors and other teams to collect the required documents, consult attorney as required ensuring timely filings. Perform administrative duties (i.e. organize case files, manage logistics, etc.). Conduct legal research and initial case assessments. Draft pleadings, motions and file them with the courts. Gather relevant information and documents from a variety of sources. Liaise between attorney, client and administrative staff. Apply rules and regulations to existing cases. Provide legal and administrative assistance to attorneys by drafting quality letters, meeting with clients, etc. Help with client consular and USCIS interview preparation for required interviews and trials.
