International Arbitration Paralegal Duties: Responsible for the overall case file maintenance, including creating table of contents and filing case materials. Provide support to teams comprised of associates based in both the New York and Washington, DC office. Assist team with filings in arbitral institutions such as ICSID, ICC, PCA etc. Provide up-to-date information on jurisdiction filings, rules, and procedures. Manage time sensitive requests regarding active matters. Assist with productions, witness bundles, and other materials. Act as a liaison to our clients for the Partners and Associates. Communicate and liaise with third-party vendors. Manage hard copy and electronic case documents, including preparing electronic and physical binders. Perform substantive cite-checking, extensive formatting, and proofreading. Maintain and manage discovery databases such as DISCO and Relativity and other applications as necessary. Develop expertise in use of document review tools, including the ability to prepare sets of documents to be produced and perform advanced searches over the data. Liaise with and delegate to office support staff to ensure efficiency of workflow. Perform other paralegal duties as necessary. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. 0-5 years of experience. Fluency in Spanish language. Ability to create a friendly and professional rapport with attorneys, staff, and external parties. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and respond effectively to such situations. Enthusiastic, pro-active, self-motivated, and flexible. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of research databases, including ISLG, Kluwer, Lexis and Westlaw. Strong proofreading ability and excellent attention to detail. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and at remote locations for hearings. Passport required.
