Paralegal / Legal Assistant Candidate will assist with Professional (Occupational) License Defense practice. Paralegal certification is a huge plus. 2-4 years' experience is required. Excellent researcher and writer is required. Must be a positive person and a team player. Must be competent and proficient in the use of Lexis-Nexis, MS Word, and MS Business Outlook. Familiar with other legal software then that is a huge plus. Must be able to multi-task and assist our team with a good amount of client case files. Must be able to think on your feet and make smart decisions. Must be detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right the first time. Must be able to talk to people in a manner that is polite, educated, and puts them at ease. Must have compassion when dealing with clients. Must be able to deal with the worst mannered people with respect at all times. Will also need to know how to figure things out on own and be able to creatively problem solve and come up with workable solutions.
