Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate must have 3+ years of defense litigation experience. JD from an accredited law school is required. Admitted to practice in the state of Texas is needed. Experience handling general liability, professional liability, complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, and employment litigation. Experience drafting discovery and motions a must. Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus. Superior communication, writing, and research skills. Legal project management experience is helpful. Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions. Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
