Paralegal Duties: Prepare, review, analyze and organize documents in connection with a wide range of sophisticated and complex corporate transactions. Assist in and organize due diligence on transactions. Manage clients corporate records and filings. Prepare and make corporate and regulatory filings (including UCC, Form D and Section 16 filings) as well as perform legal research with regard to such filings. Work as part of a dynamic, collaborative team, including experienced and recognized lawyers.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred. 2+ years of experience handling general corporate, finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and other business transactions. Experience with Section 16 filings preferred. Energetic, organized, detail oriented and disciplined with the willingness to work hard. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, through effective communication strategies. Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines and other time constraints, with competing and shifting priorities. Ability to bill 1550 hours annually towards the firm paralegal billing expectation. Strong project management skills.
