Washington, DC office seeks a business development manager-litigation, international and government affairs practices with several years of experience in marketing and/or communications-related field. The candidate will manage the marketing and business development functions for the firm's litigation, international and government affairs practices. Provide targeted research on clients, prospects, and competitors; research relevant industry and market trends; develop strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships; support the practices' strategic and business planning efforts; coordinate responses to and background research for RFPs, as well as tracking business generated from those responses, and identify reasons for not securing the business; draft and update electronic and hard copy collateral materials. Evaluate ROI on investments of business development hours and dollars; work with the firm's InterAction specialist to capture relevant data in the firm's CRM system. A degree in marketing, business, research, or a communications-related field is preferred.
