Litigation Attorney The candidate will exercise skills and knowledge to strategize and assist clients in achieving optimal resolution. Handle pleadings, meet and confers, discovery, a variety of motion writing, depositions, court appearances, trial preparations and everything in between. Utilize critical thinking skills to develop creative methods for negotiating and strategizing. Employ a knack for negotiating for favorable outcomes. Become an expert in litigating complicated and complex personal injury matters. Should have 2+ years of experience and admission in good standing with the California State Bar. Familiarity with personal injury, i.e. motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, concepts of general negligence, premises liability, etc. Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills. Strong research, writing and analytical skills. Relevant civil litigation experience including drafting pleadings; developing and implementing discovery strategy; taking and defending depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, and experts; successful track record in bringing, opposing, and arguing dispositive motions; attending mediations and other settlement conferences. Excellent academic credentials. Able to handle own caseload.
