Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate' must have at least 5 years of litigation support experience. Litigation secretarial skills - calendaring, case management, pleading preparation and editing, tracking and organization. Experience with document production and organization, familiarity with court systems and online filings. General Secretarial skills - drafting, reviewing and editing correspondences and agreements; preparing table of contents and tables of authorities; preliminary research on matters; calendaring for litigation and transactional matters including coordination with others and attorneys on calendaring items; maintaining contacts database; paper and electronic filing and organization; preparing proof of services and handling proper mailing/sending of documents to appropriate parties. Experienced in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe are required. Knowledge with Lexis and PowerPoint is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to allow for successful interactions with diverse opposing parties, clients, vendors, and third parties involved in various matters. Must be able to take direction well, multitask, function under pressure and adapt well to a fast paced environment.
