Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Spanish/ English) Duties: Prepare and organize applications and petitions for Attorney review prior to submission to the appropriate government entity. Meet with clients to ensure accuracy of intake information and begin case processing. Assist clients with filling out questionnaires and forms. Educate clients regarding the Immigration process as it relates to their specific case. Serve as clients primary point of contact (POC) for assigned case load. Respond to client emails and telephone calls in timely manner. Liaise with USCIS, NVC, EOIR, ICE, CBP and other government entities as needed. Serve as interpreter for Spanish speaking clients appointments with attorneys as needed. Provide certified translations (Spanish to English) of documents for clients as needed. Notarize applications and other documents as needed. Assist with processing incoming mail as needed. Receive client payments and provide a receipt for all payments taken in-person. Maintain highest level of compliance for data entry in case management system (INSZoom). Answer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate party as needed. Assist with scheduling Attorney appointments as needed. Protect Firms reputation by adhering to strict client confidentiality regulations. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree or Bachelor's Degree (Paralegal Certificate preferred). 1-2 years prior paralegal or administrative (legal) experience. Bilingual English/Spanish. Ability to uphold highest standard of client confidentiality. Qualified to be a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Highly organized and able to manage significant number of tasks, schedules and information. Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and clients. Proficiency with INSZoom preferred (certification a plus). Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
