Seeking Technology, Media & Privacy Insurance Coverage Attorney with insurance coverage experience. Candidate will be handling complex first and third party claims. Will concentrate on review and analysis of claims submitted under insurance policies covering technology, media, and cyber risks. Many of these claims involve highly-publicized lawsuits involving new and evolving areas of intellectual property, privacy, and technology law, including privacy and data breach class action litigation. Will liaise with policyholders and brokers, and report to insurers regarding available coverage, liability and damages evaluation and resolution strategies. Will speak regularly with defense counsel in connection with the defense of domestic and international claims and engage in high-level strategy discussions with insurers, defense counsel and policyholders. Should be able to work within a fast-paced team environment and have a strong interest in learning about our clients' business and developing solutions to complex legal and coverage issues. Should have the following: Excellent academic credentials. Admitted to the California Bar. Experience working on complex insurance coverage matters, including coverage opinions and formal correspondence to policyholders. Litigation experience helpful. Strong team player. Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills.
