Atlanta office seeks benefits manager - HR with 5+ years of experience in benefits management. The candidate will work under the direction of the Director of Benefits Administration. Will oversee administration of the firm's health and welfare programs. Manage benefit plan enrollments, changes and terminations to include coordination of work flow between the benefit department and finance department to ensure payroll deductions. Manage leave of absence administration to ensure compliance with Firm policies and regulatory requirements. Assist Director of Benefits Administration with international benefit plan management. Develop employee communications to promote awareness of and participation in benefit programs. Maintain HRIS and vendor interfaces; develop new programs and streamline process; manage the Wellness Program; maintain Administrative manuals; ensure benefits plans are administered in conformance with firm's policies and regulatory requirements; and perform other duties as assigned. Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a combination of equivalent work experience. Should have an ability to manage annual projects. Must have ability to prioritize and communicate effectively with all levels of law firm personnel. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of ERISA, IRS, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA and Section 125 regulations. Law firm and/or experience working in a partnership environment preferred. Strong knowledge of automated HRIS systems, Ceridian HRIS preferred. Strong analytical skills will be desired.
