Associate Attorney The candidate will be drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating music industry agreements. Document preparing. Legal and Copyright Researching (mostly Internet-based). Preparing copyright, trademark, and other registration applications. Communicating with clients and opposing counsel. Assisting with preparation, management, and administration of client and catalogue data. Should have 3 years of experience as an associate attorney in the music business, experience with music contractual matters and copyright/intellectual property registrations, and understand copyright law and the customs and practices of the music business.
