Associate Attorney Duties: Drafting and negotiating development agreements (e.g., option/purchase agreements, writer agreements, shopping/attachment agreements, etc.), ATL and BTL production agreements, and financing-related documentation. Assisting clients in drafting, reviewing, and processing clearance issues, guild matters, location agreements, vendor agreements, third-party material licenses, music licenses, and other contracts related to motion picture productions. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. An active member of the California State Bar. 1-3 years of experience in scripted, unscripted series and narrative feature motion pictures. Experience must be post-law school as a practicing attorney (i.e., not including internships or work as a contract administrator). Familiarity with the signatory processes for the DGA, WGA, and SAG-AFTRA is preferred. Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and simultaneously work with various types of clients (e.g., producers, production companies, financiers, distributors, etc.) on projects of varying budget levels.
