Real Estate Paralegal The candidate reviews, analyzes, and summarizes title commitments and surveys. Helps attorneys with analysis and research as directed. Prepares and edits a variety of legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, mortgages, memoranda of leases, etc. Organizes and distributes closing checklists, closing instruction letters and closing binders to the transaction team. Identifies and remedies title issues. Summarizes legal documents when received by clients. Reviews commercial and residential lease terms; presents analysis and interpretations of lease provisions to supervising attorneys; and proofreads work, including correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Should have 5+ years of experience. Should have understanding of commercial and residential real estate purchase and lease transactions. In-depth knowledge of CAR and AIR forms essential. Experience with title, title insurance, and surveys is needed. Familiarity with land use and bankruptcy a plus. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Adobe essential. Excellent writing, editing, analytical and communication skills needed.
