Bilingual Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities: Prepare forms and correspondence. Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation. Work closely with clients to gather and organize supporting documentation and case administration. Prepare filings for relevant federal agencies. Conduct research on immigration law and procedures. Prepare draft correspondence and memoranda. Track the status of filings and inform the client and attorney of any follow up that may be necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication preferred. 1-2 years of immigration experience Preferred. Able to fluently speak Spanish. Superior writing/editing skills for complex support letters. Must be highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources required. Maintains high standards of performance. Exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility. Must have a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude. Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization. Must exhibit well-developed interpersonal and client relation skills. Exhibits strong oral and written communications skills. Thorough command of the English language including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style. Ability to compose professional correspondence. Period: 3 months
