Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of all the details from intake to completion. Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments. Draft responses, motions and other pleadings. File them with the court. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Liaise between clients, providers, attorneys, and the courts. Provide assistance with case settlements. The candidate must be able to provide assistance during all phases of the claims and litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing and more. Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal with personal injury experience is required. Should be fluent in English and Spanish. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc. is required. Should be highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail. Should have extensive computer and database expertise (knowledge of TrialWorks a plus). Should have ability to work independently and collaboratively.
