Patent Attorney The candidate should have exceptional English written and oral communication skills. Excellent analytical skills. USPTO Registration. Admission to the California Bar required. An undergraduate or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, applied physics, or other similar disciplines. An excellent academic record. 2 years of experience in patent prosecution. Patent litigation experience (as part of a mixed practice) is highly desirable.
