Attorney Development Coordinator Responsibilities: Support the firm s Director of Attorney Development and other members of the team in all efforts relating to attorney training and development firm-wide. Collaborate with Recruiting and Attorney Development team members and other firm business operations leaders on attorney orientation and integration to enhance processes and materials and ensure smooth transitions. Coordinate and monitor Mentor-Associate meetings for Associates. In collaboration with the Director and other Attorney Development team members, coordinate additional programming for the mentoring program. Assist the Director and other Attorney Development team members in the implementation of practice area and firm-wide training curricula, including coordination of logistics in collaboration with the IT and other departments. Coordinate the collection and analysis of feedback regarding in-house and external training seminars and recommend program enhancements based on feedback. In collaboration with the firm s Library department, review course materials for CLE compliance. Assist with performance evaluation process and other modalities for providing feedback to associates. Create and disseminate tools for associates to manage their career development. In collaboration with the Marketing Department, coordinate alumni events. Provide coordination and support for the firm s affinity committees. Collaborate with Attorney Development team and other departments across the firm to continually evaluate and enhance firm processes and systems for greater efficiency and quality. Collaborate with the Director and the local staffing partner in NY on staffing matters to (a) ensure that associates are fully utilized, have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters with different partners, and achieve progress toward their development goals and (b) identify available attorneys to be staffed on matters with the requisite skill set for a given assignment. Work on special department or firm projects as needed. Requirements: BS/BA degree. 2+ years of experience coordinating attorney development activities in a law firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience in attorney development or a related field. Knowledge and experience with NY CLE preferred. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written, organizational and communication skills. Ability to effectively handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A self-started who takes initiative and is able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) are required.
