BHM - Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for administrative patent prosecution management and support. Handle e-filings at the USPTO and WIPO. Communicate and coordinate with foreign counsel filing of patent applications outside of the US. Assist in the preparation of declarations, certificates of correction, and corrected filing receipts. Coordinate IDS preparation and tracking of references. Review the Notice of Allowance prior to payment of issue fees. Oversee tracking and maintenance of individual attorney dockets. Process client intake and transfer-out projects. Prepare client reporting of incoming correspondence and completed tasks. Prepare status reports and other client-requested reports/tasks. Maintain client correspondence. Assist in the performance of prior art searches and reports related to due diligence and clearance studies. Should have a High School diploma. Paralegal associate's degree or other relevant certification preferred. Prior litigation experience is required. Should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities. Should have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Should have the ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision. Retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem-solving. Should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Should have the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
