Legal Assistant/Receptionist Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be assisting one of the attorneys with a variety of case types, including fiduciary litigation, estate planning, probate, guardianship, as well as corporate and civil litigation, and others. High level of ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. High accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical skills are required. Research skills, including public records searches and legal research are required. Experience in drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents are required.Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven team environment are required. Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment are required. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Google Apps skills are required. Experience in working with practice management software are required. Notary or ability to become notary public are required. Assisting attorney with client and case management are required. Driving efficient use of attorney time are required. Assistance with timely management of invoices and messages are required. 3-5 years of experience working in a law firm (preference for paralegal certification) are required.
