Residential Preclosing Paralegal The candidate should have 3+ years of experience working as a residential real estate pre-closer and familiar with the entire pre-closing process. Experience with SoftPro is a plus. Coordinate the scheduling of closings with attorneys, agents, sellers, buyers and lenders. Obtain the sales contract/title order from the lender or agent. Open closing file in SoftPro. Order documents and information required for closing, such as title examinations, homeowners association letters, payoff letters, and tax reports as applicable. Ensure timely receipt of the required documents. Upon receipt of title exams, notify the attorney of any title problems, Prepare title commitments, title binders. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running. Experience with Closing Disclosures required.
