Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate's duties include: Case management and customer service for clients; Managing and maintaining prompt communication with clients, courts, and other attorneys; Managing calendars and scheduling appointments; Filing documents with the court; Monitoring and tracking deadlines; Drafting, editing, and reviewing documents such as pleadings, settlement documents, discovery documents, correspondence, legal drafting, etc; Copying, scanning, and organizing documents and medical records; Scheduling and communicating with medical experts. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 1-3 years of legal litigation experience preferred. Paralegal or legal education of some kind preferred. The candidate's duties include communicating with clients, obtaining and organizing materials for cases, responding to discovery, scheduling matters, and a variety of other tasks. Strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to organize and manage tasks are key. A 4-year college degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience is preferred.
