Litigation Paralegal The candidate will calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines with the courts, Draft pleadings and discovery requests and responses, Create and maintain discovery indexes, organize case files, analyze documents for production, etc. Organize legal files and interact with clerks of court, process services Collaborate with attorneys and other team members. Handle electronic filing and serving of pleading motions, Make diary entries, Assist with scheduling, Prepare medical chronology, Obtain service of process and assist with the issuance of summons and writs, Daily client contact and communicating with the courts and opposing counsel as needed. Support our attorneys throughout the pre-trial, trial and settlement processes At least 2 years recent paralegal experience in MA, litigation preferred. Bachelor's Degree, or paralegal certificate, or equivalent paralegal experience. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record, Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Proficient with eFiling, scheduling and calendaring Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
