Associate Attorney - Construction The candidate will handle all aspects of many types of civil law litigation matters ranging from initial client consultation to final resolution of the case, in close collaboration with the other attorneys and staff. The position will include preparing motions, discovery, pleadings, orders, liens, bonds, correspondence, deeds, and various other legal documents; legal research and analysis; attending hearings, mediations and trials; meeting with clients, experts and witnesses, and more. Must be Graduated from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Texas are required. At least one year's experience as a Civil Law Attorney are required. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure are required. Excellent research, analytical, verbal and writing skills are required. Must be team-player, motivated, organized and hardworking. Excellent business judgment, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills are required. Ability to work calmly, cooperatively and compassionately, even in stressful situations are required. Ability to work independently, with or without secretarial assistance are required. Strong computer skills are required. Must have 1-3 years Civil/Construction law experience required.
