Attorney-Consumer & Commercial Debt Collection Duties: Handle consumer debt collection case load for national creditors throughout Kentucky, review and approval of all pleadings, motions and executions. Attend all court matters. Assist in opening and then managing satellite office and work with hub office in Cleveland. Assist Firm in marketing local businesses within the State. Assist with client audits & attend professional conferences. Run own office but have full support of Firm processes and resources. Focus limited to debt collection, foreclosure and bankruptcy. Qualifications: Law degree. 3+ years experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BKFS and Tempo a plus. Dual law license in Kentucky and Ohio is a plus, Kentucky license is required. Strong communication, written, oral, and listening skills. Detail oriented and a strong commitment to customer service. Must be highly organized, self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and display an attitude that no task is too small to get the job done and serve the client. Experience must be in the consumer and commercial debt collection. Knowledge and experience in residential foreclosure is a plus. Must have extensive experience with the FDCPA, and understand compliance regulations promulgated by the CFPB and OCC.
