Bankruptcy Paralegal (Creditor Side) The candidate will be responsible for some interaction with the Northern California office and assistance of three attorneys with day to day activities (including some administrative). Will handle creditor bankruptcy work, including: Motions for Relief, Proofs of Claim, and Objections to Plan. This requires communication with the clients and attorneys. Responsible for file from start to finish, including preparation of motions, e-filing and serving. Should preferably have a solid work history with 2+ years of paralegal/legal assistant experience in the following: preparing Motions for Relief from the Automatic Stay, Objections to Consumer and Commercial bankruptcy plans, filing Proofs of Claim, other creditor bankruptcy litigation procedures, and e-filing. Should preferably also be familiar with loan payment history review for loan servicers and can e-file documents in bankruptcy court. Knowledge of lender databases including TEMPO, LPS is helpful.
